Reference is made to the Company’s announcement dated 20 January 2017 in relation to the Proposals.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of ATTA (“Board”), Public Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that the Board had decided to abort the Proposals after taking into consideration the relevant provisions under the Companies Act 2016 which had come into effect on 31 January 2017 including amongst others, the abolishment of par value regime and consequently the concept of authorised share capital.

The Proposals which were intended to be undertaken by ATTA were supposed to provide the Company with greater flexibility to raise funds and/or to implement corporate proposals which would previously entail the issuance of new ATTA Shares at a price below the then par value of ATTA Shares of RM1.00 each.

In view of the abolishment of par value regime, the Board had decided that the Proposals are no longer required.
